 big day today. out and about picking up supplies. feel like i've been moving like 90 now i'm off to bottle salt

 Taken a lot longer than I thought it would, but all I need is the door and I can put a thermometer in there and see if all the effort was worth it.............watch this space !

   well another busy day comes to an end and the drying shed is nearly completed.Its been in progress since before christmass one of those ideas,you know Ill just whack up that shed, it won"t take that long!!                                                                                                        during the building the idea sort of morphed into something more complex_a drying shed.mutch more usefull it has walls that are 150mm thick and fully insulated with straw [couldn:t afford batts...

  Lee Lee-Ann has a chat about the pecking order in the adopt-a-chicken hen house. This week has been great with the eggs starting to come on in volume and the dog hasn't figured out how to get in and eat a chook...all good.
