We had the field cut and bailed the other day - it took all of half an hour lol. Our place is not as large (or as flat) as many of the farms in our area.
When the resident farm dog is still scared of sheep and won't even enter the paddock - you may have to resort to desperate measures, like Country Calendar. Why not - you never know your luck.
He seemed quite impressed with the show at the sheep dog trials. Maybe the language was totally understandable with all those dogs barking and herding. We live in hope......sheep dog sounds much better than chicken dog...but we love him anyway.
We have a facebook page now - http://www.facebook.com/DownAtTheFarm.nz - how very 2006 of us LOL, and even more importantly...
The live chicken video is available - just go to the adopt-a-chicken page to see our chooks every day, live!
